Title: What an upgrade
Review: I was a little skeptical. I’m not buying a big name brand laptop. But the features and speed of this computer is quite amazing. Add to that. It has a quality high definition screen, 1080p backlit keys and nearly instantaneous responses.Not to mention, it’s half the weight of the one it replaced by HP.Well done. 👍🏽

Title: Maybe suitable for regular admin work but not for gaming.
Review: This laptop is dependable, but the backlit keyboard does not work at all and if you want to run some gaming especially like off of steam, it will drain the battery pretty quick as soon as two to three hours real time. I would not recommend this laptop though if you are not into gaming and want mobility without having to be plugged into a nearby outlet source.

Title: DO NOT BUY IF YOU LIVE ANYWHERE BESIDES INDIA
Review: This specific model is only made in India so if you’re located in the US & your charger happens to stop working or you lose it just know you will never find another charger for it. It’s useless after the charger stops working. I’ve ordered chargers that say they’re made for this model but apparently they make multiple Acer Aspire 3. The specific model of A325-42 is absolute junk if you live in the US. I’m not sure why they sell it to people in the US.

Title: Good buy for someone who wants a little bit of everything.
Review: Good so far. Ease of setup is probably the best thing. Limited bloatware from Acer. 16GB of RAM for this price of 400 is good. Light up keyboard is a nice plus. So far it plays some of my Steam games. But not a gaming computer. I mainly use it for editing, browsing and videos. Good buy for someone who wants a computer that does a little bit of everything.

Title: Meh…
Review: It meets expectations with regard to processing speed, screen clarity, etc., but fit and finish leave something to be desired. I’m comparing this with the machine I had been using for 7 or 8 years prior, and there is no comparison when it comes to build quality. This Acer Aspire 3 will most likely get the job done for me– I’ll use it mainly for word processing and occasional YouTube viewing– but the feel is of something made with cutting corners in mind. And the speakers are pretty weak and tinny.

Review: Ordered from Amazon as an open box item. This monitor has a pretty conservative old-school design with a thick bezel and 120v power plug in the back (no separate power adapter). 100×100 VESA support which is what I wanted.The good:The stand is pretty sturdy, but I replaced it anyway with a monitor arm. No dead pixels. 2x HDMI + 1x display port. Immediately detected as FreeSync capable and working at 144Hz over HDMI cable with my RX480 video card.The bad:Contrary to the product description there are no audio ports at all. I don’t care about this feature so it’s not a big deal to me. However, the problem is this monitor has some of the worst backlight bleed I’ve ever seen. Whenever a black screen is displayed the backlight is obvious on all 4 sides. Maybe my unit is particularly bad and was returned by someone else. It’s acceptable for my uses (light gaming) but disappointing given that it’s not the cheapest monitor in this class. I would consider a different model unless you can get this one super cheap.
