Title: Nice machine at a good price
Review: I purchased this laptop on July 2 and have been using it for a few weeks. It booted right up straight out of the box, setup was easy and it was ready to use. Screen is good, not fond of the keyboard (I much prefer discreet keyboards), mouse pad is responsive and it is fast. With several memory hungry aps running and several chrome tabs open switching between aps is very quick with no mouse or screen lag. Im not a gamer so cant comment on that. Battery life is several hours and recharges quickly. BUT the power adapter uses the only usb C port which is not mentioned in the specifications. I ordered a power supply with a barrel connection and problem solved. Over all I am quite pleased, it runs great, boots quickly, shuts down quickly and I have not had any problems at all.

Title: Great laptop for general use
Review: I have been in technology for almost 50 years. in my lifetime I have used just about everything that computes, calls, calculates, shows time, and locates. I have used it, sold it, broke it, and repaired it, from mainframe computers to watches.I needed a new laptop, my old one was 10 years old but still able to run Windows 11. It’s tiny and kind of slow, so I searched Amazon exhaustively for a new one and came across this, the 40GB RAM Ryzen 7 Lenovo.I’ve always been an HP fan but have used Lenovos before, they are always well built and last a long time. This one is probably the best I have seen. I’m not a PC gamer, so I don’t need intense graphical speed, but I think the Radeon GPU can handle anything I need to throw at it, and the OS loads in less than 10 seconds. It’s light, has a 1TB SSD which is enough room for me, and did I say fast? The RAM can load the whole OS.The keyboard is excellent, I don’t need a backlit one, it has every key imaginable, even a side numeric keypad. It’s light, VERY light weight, and the perfect form factor for me at 14″. Best design ever.If you don’t need a powerhouse for gaming, want to browse the Internet , do your taxes, watch videos, and maybe create a video once in a while, this laptop can do it all. People complain about the viewing angle and video, but I downloaded the latest drivers from AMD and I don’t see a problem. It was shipped quickly even to my remote rural community, great seller. Two days.

Title: Linux swapped machine
Review: I tested the original Windows system before I removed it without issues and the laptop was quick to start up and under normal operation it functioned fine. It did appear to be an upgraded Windows 7 computer in the BIOS. Windows was only removed as this was purchased for work where I do “geek” computer things that Linux is easier to use.If you are looking for a solid laptop to use for Linux this machine is a solid choice. You will need to go into Windows and change a few settings to do the conversion to whatever Linux Distribution you decide to go with.Pro: It’s a very sleek, slim, and fast computer for the price point. It has a ethernet connection point unlike most laptops anymore.Con: I am not a fan of the powercharger that was included and have it currently running off a docking station.Overall I will probably grab another one of these laptops for personal usage.

Title: Bad laptop – FAIL UPDATED
Review: The laptop works as computer fairly well and is fast enough. Completely usable for most basic functions, web browsing, office apps, listening to music. Reasonably light weight, construction is OK where most of the case is plastics. Next up and deducted a star here. The screen is pretty low end just muddy or greyish looking from most any angle even after using the included AMD video software I was not able to get a very suitable picture, but I will use it anyway. Only one USB-C port and the laptop which arrived with a USB-C type charger which does work, but no small round tip charger where an input for this charger type is present on the laptop. Good thing this laptop also works with my DELL docking station and no drivers were required. Was able to access Lenovo support website and update two hardware drivers w/o any problem ( was hoping there might be a video update ). BIOS and another non-essential hardware item were the only items auto detected for updates.UPDATE: 2 months and Laptop has failed. No proper tech support from Lenovo. Opened a support case and per direct instructions from Lenovo I go to Lenovo website to download a recovery image file and it says no OS installed on that serial number, Lenovo cannot or will not enable access to acquire a recovery file even if the laptop is under warranty.Amazon tech support simply gave me Lenovo tech support number. I looks like the ‘ol circle pull is on now. I would bypass Lenovo from now on. I left inquiry as to help with the reseller, will have to see if they want a tug too I guess.

Title: A reliable laptop that’s easy to learn to use.
Review: This is a “workhorse” of a laptop and the second one I’ve owned (because I travel a lot and wanted one in two different locations). It’s a little heavy for hand-carrying to travel, but well worth this minor inconvenience.

Title: Great computer for the price
Review: Fast processor with plenty of RAM, ports & file storage. Picture quality is better than avg. While I rarely use the onboard speakers they are adequate for most needs. Battery lasts 6+ hrs on daily tasks (I’m not a gamer). Only drawback is the charger – it uses the usb-c port (even though a standard charging port is included…I purchased an aftermarket that works great).

Review: I bought this laptop mainly for work, and it never disappointed. I have been coding (using Eclipse IDE for Web Programming) and running VMs and I didn’t face any problems. The experience felt smooth.Personally I have two things to mention because they could be improved, but they aren’t a big deal in my case:1. Screen: the screen’s viewing angles and contrast could be better. When watching movies or darker content, the image often looks washed out or overly dark unless the screen is tilted precisely. Brightness and contrast calibration feel slightly inconsistent.2. Battery: it gets drained quickly, so you’ll find yourself charging the laptop several times. Not recommended if you travel/move frequently. I highly recommend installing the Lenovo Vantage software & then enabling “Conservation mode” if you’re going to keep the charger plugged-in for long sessions. This mode will expand the battery’s lifespan.

Review: I bought this laptop for my mother and she hasn’t had any complaints so far. However, I was disappointed that the product listing didn’t clearly state whether or not the keyboard was backlit. It turns out it isn’t. For her, this isn’t a big issue, but if I had bought it for myself, I’d be very frustrated. A business laptop should really make this clear in the description—especially since many people work in low-light settings (like on a plane or train). Other than that, it seems to run fine.
