Title: Great purchase!
Review: After my daughter graduated high school and no longer had her school-issued Chromebook, this laptop was the perfect replacement! With the sale price offered, I was skeptical. I was wrong. It is so light and compact. It travels well, yet is durable. The violet color is really nice too. We have had it for a little over 4 months. My daughter has been using it at college to work on assignments, log into her college apps & websites and stream tv apps without any issues. The screen is bright and clear, the battery lasts for her and there have been no hiccups with the memory capacity while she uses many different functions. I am jealous that her laptop is better than mine!

Title: Violet is actually blue.
Review: So I actually love this little laptop. It’s perfect for my job and school and the battery is excellent so far. Only thing that I will say, the “violet” is not violet. It’s a blue color. I actually called customer service because I thought it had been mislabeled and had them send me another one. Replacement is the same blue color. So I ended up sending the second one back and just keeping the one I had already loaded my stuff on. It’s a perfect laptop for my needs I’m just a little bummed that the color it shows online on Amazon AND on the Microsoft site is not the color you actually get. I was excited for the violet color. I actually would have bought the slightly larger laptop but the violet only comes in the 13.

Review: Microsoft’s Surface Laptop is sleek and powerful for me to use at home or on the go. It’s small design makes transport easy, but it’s powerful enough to handle my computing needs. The battery life is very helpful as I can be out all day and still be able to use it.

Review: Good performance. Converting a large DVD with 10 files to AVI and MP4 with no problems. 512 SSD was the need. Tossed a lot of included MS programs and added my favorites instead.
